On October 13, 2024, we proudly laced up our running shoes for charity at the 2nd International Runkara Half Marathon, running under our signature campaign: “Education for Free-Thinking, Free-Minded, and Free-Spirited Youth” (inspired by Atatürk’s vision of Fikri Hür, Vicdanı Hür, İrfanı Hür). Through this athletic endeavor, our mission was to generate vital higher education funding for high-achieving, honest, and pioneering university students facing financial hardships at state universities in Ankara. Throughout the month-long fundraising drive, 19 dedicated volunteer runners launched individual donation campaigns on behalf of our project, successfully engaging 305 philanthropic donors.
