Ayşe Köksal Çetin
Ayşe Köksal Çetin graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, USA, with a degree in Industrial Engineering. She then completed her Master’s degree in Business Administration at Bilkent University between 1998 and 2000. Between 2003 and 2004, she studied for a Master’s degree in Law at Westminster University in London, specialising in the Prevention and Resolution of Disputes in International Agreements. She held senior positions in the oil, finance, mining and telecommunications sectors at Pet Holding and served as Deputy Chair of the Pet Holding Board of Directors between 2004 and 2008. Ayşe Köksal Çetin, who is currently a member of the Energy Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), enjoys music, painting and sports, and is a former Turkish champion in the swimming discipline of mono fin swimming..

Zeynep Köksal Yaykıran
Zeynep Köksal Yaykıran completed her Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hotel Management at Bilkent University, she then completed her first Master’s degree in Entrepreneurial Management at the European Business School in London and went on to further her education in the form second Master’s degree in Business Administration at Webster University, also in London. Serving as Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Pet Holding and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Köksal Education Foundation, Zeynep began her career in 2000 as a management trainee. She has worked in varied roles across different sectors, having worked as a sales, marketing and public relations coordinator, a manager in housing and construction projects and served as the general manager of a mining company. Zeynep has played an active role in many different non-governmental organisations. She currently (2025) serves as a member of the TÜSİAD Extended Board of Directors and as Chair of the TÜSİAD “These Young People Have Potential” Programme. Zeynep is a published author, having written “Eline Sağlık Anneciğim”, “Entertaining At Home” and “Crossing the Bosphorus.

Dr. Mehmet Ali Ak
With over 45 years of experience in exploration, business development and management in the petroleum industry, Dr. Ak joined the Petoil family as General Manager in 2001. Prior to working at Petoil, he served as Head of the Exploration Department at Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO). Between 1995 and 1998, he served on the Board of Directors of the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) as Vice President, President and Past President, respectively. Dr. Ak completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Geophysics at Istanbul University and obtained his PhD in the same field at Ankara University.

Cem Kalın
Cem Kalın joined Petkontur A.Ş., a subsidiary of Pet Holding, as Deputy General Manager in November 2022. He has served as Acting General Manager between June-September 2023. Since then, he has been the General Manager of Petkontur. Having started his career in 2002, Cem Kalın held positions as Customer Relations Manager and Assistant Manager at Akbank Private Banking, and also worked as a manager, investment and asset advisor at various private investment companies and brokerage firms. He is a graduate of Çankaya Atatürk Anatolian High School and Başkent University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration.

Ayşen Bozdoğan
Aysen Bozdoğan earned her Bachelor’s degree from Gazi University’s Department of Public Finance in 1986. She joined Pet Holding in 1990, and ever since, she has meticulously executed every responsibility entrusted to her, achieving a steady and highly successful upward trajectory throughout her professional career.

Cüneyt Şapcıoğlu
Cüneyt has over 40 years of domestic and international experience in the oil exploration and production sector, having worked at TPAO, Shell, Perenco and TPIC as a specialist geophysicist, petroleum economist, chief geophysicist, contract negotiator and commercial affairs coordinator, respectively. He joined Petoil in 2006 and has been Commercial Director since joining. He graduated from Ege University’s Department of Geophysics in 1980 and from Hacettepe University’s Financial Research Centre Business School in 2003.

Evrim Uluneye Enes
Evrim has worked at Petoil since 2005 and has 25 years of experience in the petroleum industry. Prior to joining Petoil, Evrim worked as a Project Development Engineer at TPIC where she gained academic research experience and skills while working on projects related to Iraq. Between 2019 and 2025, she served as Procurement and Coordination Manager and Regional Manager, respectively, based in the Iraq/Kurdistan region. Evrim obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 2000.
